training room

The training room serves as an educational facility for all monthly fire and EMS training courses. it also allows us to hold elective courses in house, which reduces the cost of training our firefighters and EMT's.

The bell shown in this photo, to the right of the clock, on the rear wall is from the 1937 Chevrolet pumper. It was removed before the pumper was sold and then mounted in the training room at the State Street fire station. The bell was then relocated to the new facility when we moved in 1999.  It is rung to call all meetings to order and to begin all training sessions.
