CHATHAM FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT

Special Meeting

November 1, 2007

The meeting was called to order at 1809 hours with Trustee Butler, Trustee Sullivan, Trustee Branham, Chief Schumer and Dawn Sanchez present.

New Business- None

Old Business- None

Motion was made Trustee Sullivan at 1810 hours to go into executive session to discuss personnel matters. Motion was seconded by Trustee Branham and passed with a unanimous aye vote.

Executive session ended at 2011 hours and the CFPD Board meeting resumed.

Trustee Branham made a motion to continue with the temporary agreement with Bob Bose. Trustee Sullivan seconded motion; motion passed with unanimous aye vote. Trustee Butler made a motion to bring the pay for part-time shift coverage up to $134.40 for a twelve-hour shift. Trustee Sullivan seconded the motion; motion was passed with a unanimous aye vote. Trustee Branham made a motion to approve the vacation and personal time and the reconciliation of back pay for all union shift personnel. Motion was seconded by Trustee Sullivan and passed with a unanimous aye vote. Trustee Branham made a motion to go ahead and release the new vacation and personal time totals. Motion was seconded by Trustee Sullivan; and passed by a unanimous aye vote. The District Trustees will wait for written confirmation from the Pension Board on whether holiday pay is pensionable before any back paychecks can be completed or released.
